Using a single edge razor blade take the boot apart to make templates.

Each piece can now be used to make the pattern.  Don't bother taking out the top stitching...you can make the seam allowance by eye.

I got a yard of this really nice leather-like vinyl for $3.88!

Mark the pieces so you know which is which.  The sides are the same, the front and back are unique. DON'T forget to mark the holes.

Trace out the pieces.  MAKE a seam allowance for the folded over part!

The seat belt covers are easy...but it might take a couple of tries to get the right tightness.  A single stitch up the length then turn and make the hem at the top.

Here is an addendum for 94-97 cars: This is a seatbelt stalk from a '94.  It's shorter and attaches to the seat unlike the 90-93.

94-97 addendum:The driver's side stalk must be unplugged under the front of the driver's seat and there is one cable tie to snip under the rear of the seat.

We made the covers to go over the entire assembly, so you need a slit to clear the bolt threads.

Here it is being installed.  Tuck the bottom in to get rid of wrinkles and then rotate it up vertical.
