To subscribe to the list:
	Send mail to listserv@list.miata.net with
	"subscribe miata YOURNAME" in the body of the message.

To send mail to the list:
	send mail to miata@list.miata.net

To unsubscribe:
	send mail to listserv@list.miata.net with
	"unsubscribe miata" in the body of the message.

To change to a daily digest:
	send mail to listserv@list.miata.net with 
	"set miata mail daily" in the body of the message.

To change to a weekly digest:
	send mail to listserv@list.miata.net with 
	"set miata mail weekly" in the body of the message.

To change to a monthly digest:
	send mail to listserv@list.miata.net with 
	"set miata mail monthly" in the body of the message.

Note: list members who have set their subscriptions to "digest" will be
moved to "monthly" when the "digest" mode is phased out.

If you want to go back to immediate reception of messages, 
send mail to the same address and put one of:
	set miata mail ack
	set miata mail noack

in the body of the message.  Use the former if you want to see your own 
messages to the list; use the latter if you don't.

To get a list of available archives of past messages:
	send mail to listserv@list.miata.net with
	"index miata" in the body of the message.

To get one of the archives of past messages:
	send mail to listserv@list.miata.net with
	"get miata archive-file-name" in the body of the message.

To retrieve archives of past messages via FTP:
	FTP to list.miata.net, and "cd pub/mailing-lists/miata"
