The heart and mind of "Frankenstein"
Shiv Pathak's 1994 turbo monster

The Car: 48K miles. Modified BEGI System III @ 12psi. FM turbo exhaust, FM cat, 2.5" downpipe, Electromotive TEC-II ECU, 510cc peak and hold injectors, BEGI sport intercooler.

Pathak on Pathak: Peak Torque at 4400 rpm (suggesting an undersized turbo). Peak HP at 5200 rpm. 110 ft-lbs at 2000 rpm. 175 ft-lbs at 3000 rpm. 230 ft-lbs at 4000 rpm. 249 ft-lbs at 4400 rpm. Quite the torque monster. Well, until you compare it to.... (Cardell on nitrous).

Hemphill on Pathak: Extremely powerful car! Exceptional low end torque. I drove the car and was amazed - at 1500 rpm, in second gear, the rear of the car literally jumped off the ground (people behind me could see light under both rear wheels) when I smashed the gas pedal to the floor. Zero turbo lag and car is not only as drivable as my mildly modified '93 Miata it is as drivable as my wife's Camry.
