Pressure-laminated 9-layer hardwood subwoofer enclosure which is curved to fit the trunk of the 1st Gen Miata. It will require removing your spare tire, but leaves you with most of your trunk storage space intact. It will fit TWO 10" subwoofers.

Bass response is awesome with this enclosure, even with cheap speakers driven by a lower-power 240w amp. The reason for this is the tight fitment of the enclosure against the body of the car. The enclosure uses about 1.9 cubic feet of space around the fuel tank (where the spare tire usually goes), giving a decent amount of air to woof.

Factory look is top notch. The most killer part of this sub enclosure is that it doesn't eat up most of the trunk. Sure, you lose your spare tire...mine hasn't been in the car for years (it makes an excellent Christmas tree stand). The bass is just what my car needed.

Under 30 minutes to remove completely
