Absorber

[12/2/2003] Reviewed by: Ben Paraan

This is a synthetic towel (foamlike material) for drying the car after washing. Comes in several different colors. A container is included.

This towel is best used slightly damp. It can/should be stored damp inside its container. I like to use it only on the car's body and glass. It leaves a slight water film but leaves no water marks.

It washes in the washing machine and is reusable. It does not leave lint and does not seem to abrade away my wax layer. Recommended.

The Absorber

Applicable to: '90 - '97 '99 + 1.6 liter 1.8 liter

This is a synthetic towel that can be bought at any wal-mart or kragen that is 27" X 17" Can be machine washed and seems quite durable.

I just recently bought this and have used it to wash my car twice now as well as many test spills around the house.

I was skeptical of this product at first, but I am SO amazed. I made many messes around the house to try it before I used it on the car and it soaked up an amazing amount of liquid and cleaned up perfectly. No fibers for dirt to get caught in and easily wrings out. Must be wet or moist for the car so it slides easily. Dries perfectly, but leaves slight film of water that does not leave spots. I would advocate this product for its good price and versatility and safety against scratching.
