Robert's Grill

Robert's Polished Billet Grille

This Grille is patterned after the early Farrari "egg Create" style Grille. The bars are similar to the "Classic" model but it has 5 chrome uprights to give it an aggressive classic look.

A beautiful piece of work. Had a Buck grille that worked for a while, but the plastic trim around the edge didn't age well. This grille was cheaper, and is crafted from billet aluminium. Glen was very accomodating when I asked for a screen backing to protect my new intercooler. Now I have a grill that looks expensive and tailored to the car, and it also protects my expensive internals. I feel like I finally have the perfect grille.

The installation involved 2 screws and 10 minutes. The mounting is secure, and clears my Track Dog air-to-air intercooler by 2mm. It's BEAUTIFUL. It was also $10.00 cheaper than my last grill cut and bent from a sheet of stainless steel mesh.

Stainless steel, polished grill for front end.

I was impressed with how heavy and solid this grill was when I received it. It looks good in the box, and looks just beautiful when installed. Must be installed to be appreciated! However, I am unsure as to how much protection it will offer against rocks and road offal as the bars are kind of far apart. I figure it's better than no grill at all!

Adds a touch of polish, and makes it look like your Miata is spoiled rotten!

Front Grill made of polished stainless steel bars separated by black plastic spacers.

Good looking grill, easy to install (tow hook removal req'd). Appears well made. Simple design. Only problem is a "ringing" that develops between 40 & 50 mph. Seems to be the stainless bars reaching resonance between spacers.

Mouth grill made of aluminum horizontal slats, measuring about 1cm x 1.5cm, polished, with black verticals.

Excellent.

Lends the mouth an understated, classy look, reminiscent of 1980's Ferrari grills. The horizontal slats are a fresh break from the more common mesh design.

Grill feels solid and well made, and looks flawless. Quality fasteners hold it together. Screws are provided to bolt grill in. Teeth must be removed for this grill. Looks like driving lights can be mounted with some minimal cutting of the horizontal slats.

I like it =o)
