I used to use the Ford Heavy Duty brake fluid for track duty. I never had any fluid fade using it. What I did get, however, was a post-event spongy pedal. After a couple sessions on track, the pedal would be soft after everything cooled, and get progressively firmer as the brakes heat up again. I'm not exactly sure what causes it but I can't stand it. The solution is Motul 600 brake fluid.

When using the Ford stuff, I would bleed my brakes 3 times at a minimum each track weekend to get rid of the spongy feel. That has totally been eliminated with the Motul. Sure, the Motul cost 3 times more, but I'm using 3 times less fluid and doing 1/3 of the work. When/if you get into serious track schools, I highly recommend stepping up to this fluid.
