Beautiful Mazda OEM black leather brake handle. A terrific match to my Nardi leather wheel and shift knob.

Why Mazda did not include this product on the LS Miatas, I just don't know. They could have at least put it on those ordered with the 6 speed since they come with a black Nardi knob too. Any way, I am very glad that I ordered this fine product through my local Mazda parts department. It arrived within a few days and was as simple as twisting off the generic plastic handle and firmly pushing the new leather unit on. No glue, no screw, no extra effort. Fits and looks..... well, like it came with the car. It should, it is a Mazda OEM piece.

If you own an LS Miata, or any Miata, and want to upgrade, I highly recommend the Mazda accessory parts. They work and look great! Now... about those "pleather" shift boots.....

Mazda factory wood emergency brake handle by Nardi

Nardi wooden emergency brake handle sold by Mazda Parts Dept.

Solid wood and matches the Nardi wooden shift knob nicely. The instructions are very clear and installation is easy. First, you take a sharp razor knife and cut the existing e-brake handle across the top. Then pry it off with a flat head screwdriver. Clean surface with alcohol. Apply glue (included) as instructed and slide the wooden handle on. I also purchased a chrome release button and it looks great with the wood. This simply screws on in place of the existing black one. Again, following the instructions carefully and you should have it installed in 15 minutes.

Looks great - real solid wood and complements the Nardi shift knob nicely. I'm looking forward to putting the factory wood dash kit on.
