An aluminum shift knob made especially for the Miata.The installation was simple enough.. Unscrew the old knob, screw on the new knob! The knob stays cool during the summer, but gets awfully cold during the winter months.
I like my shift knob. It fits exactly to my hand and is much more comfortable than the stock knob. The finish had a few flaws in it (bubbles) but those were easily fixed. The bottom of the knob could also extend down a bit further, it doesn't reach the shift boot, there is about an 1/8 inch gap. Defenately looks cool to see the red car, black interior and that gleaming red knob shining with the top down!
