Susan | Shcpostal@aol.com | Thanks for all the great pics. Amazing what mods you can do to these cars. |
SWalker | s.walker@sympatico.ca | Great site!! Lots of mods that I am thinking of making and the photos will help a lot. |
quebecua | quebecua@hotmail.com | wonderfull site and lost of VERY usifull info. keep it up man. |
FUGGMEISTER | toRon@ronsmail.com | Very well done site, much useful info. Particularly liked the lens smoothing idea. I'm surprised I never thought of that. Yopu're to be congratulated for sharing this information and taking time to set this site up. |
Ron Cross | cybersurgeon@powernet.net | Great job on the site. I just bought a '92 Black/Tan and named it "Hakuna". If you're ever in Reno, look me up and we'll talk Miata. |
Miguel Estela IV | MEstelaIV@AOL.com | Great site and great looking car! I have a '96 M-Edition and some little "turd" keyed the pass. door. on my car while I was at the mall. Good thing there are no damage to the panel. I followed your sanding and polishing process and got excelent results! The 3M Hand Glaze worked well. It was time consuming, but well worth it. Thanks. PS. If you plan to replace your wheels, you might want to consider 16" Kosei Racing Seneca wheels. |
Robert Williams | rwilliams1@austin.rr.com | WOW! Your site is the Hakuna-bomb! Thank you for all of the hints/suggestions/confidence. A pic is worth a 1000 words, and you now have several books on Miata modification. Because of you, I took my father's advice in repairing my flaking paint myself (I saved over $400 compared to the paint shop). Likewise, thanks for the free chasis braces (the pipe was already in the garage). I am now free to cruise at exactly 62 mph without risking my girlfriend's fillings. I am very impressed and proud that a fellow Miataphile has taken the time and effort to produce such a body of work. Keep on posting, and I will keep on reading! |
Rick Rohl | r_rohl@hotmail.com | Wow!1 Great job on all the photos. i have a silver 91 B. I look forward to making some of the modifications you have. I am not a visionary but follow directions well. Thanks for the chance to improve on a already tremendous sports car. Yur time and effort is much appreciated. Until we Miatagain. |
brian | brian.sumners@adtran.com | Gary, I almost freaked out when they removed your site from the garage of miata.net. I never bothered to bookmark the site, but I have it now. I wanted to ask you if you use a buffer to polish Hakuna. I know nothing about them or the ups and downs of using them. I was thinking about how many wax jobs i'll do in my life and thought I'd do my fingers a favor. |
Gary | hakuna@pacific.net | I was the one that actually redesigned the miata.net garage section. My stuff is peppered through the subsections, but the main site link is now under "Links". I NEVER use a buffer on Hakuna. The risk of swirl marks is just too high. I use 100% cotton toweling and do it all by hand. Zaino also requires NO buffing at all. Coupled with the fact that a Miata is so small it takes very little effort. Thanks for freaking out! ;-) Gary |
Jason | bj80@uswest.net | Great site Like your attitude Now I have alot more ideas not to spend money on Cheers |
Mark Hopkins | raffles22@yahoo.com | erm.....I think someone should tell you, somebody has pinched your engine and swapped it for an enormous MONSTER....It has to be said that your handywork is extremely impressive. Keep it up Well done |
Lee | Canecreekfreak@yahoo.com | Car looks great! Where did you get the Seneka's? Do you get any vibration at speed? |
