MSA Strut Tower Brace

The Motor Sport Auto strut tower brace is made of 4130 chromemoly steel, both the cross brace & the brackets. It's finished in a semi-gloss black powder coat & weighs in at 5.6 pounds. The cross bar is made of a straight round tube with heim joints at both ends where it attaches to the brackets. One is a left hand thread & one is a right hand thread. The brackets are circular where they bolt up to the shock towers (not the open horseshoe shape that some others use). The hardware that came with it consisted of 2 allen head bolts, 6 washers & 2 nylock nuts. Everything you need for the install.

It took all of 10 minutes to install this brace. It actually took longer to unwrap the bar than it did to install it. With the reverse treaded heim joints you can put the bar under tension to further stiffen the front end. The cowl shake that my car had over bad pavement is all but gone. One other unexpected benefit is the turn is much sharper.

I paid $129.95 for the brace & I consider it a bargain. This strut tower brace is a little jewel. Everything from the finish to the way it's fabricated screams out quality. The straight cross bar & end brackets are stronger than many of the other stb's out there. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to tighten up their front end.

Under 30 minutes to remove completely
