This is an Autometer A pillar single gauge pod. It holds one 2 1/16 gauge on the A pillar.
I got this product from egauges for $26 shipped. I had to get it because I want to get an aftermarket water temp gauge in preparation for my turbo charged Miata. This item will require you to drill at least 2 holes on the A pillar. The use of double sided tape simply wont hold it tight enough. The installation takes about 10 min, but if you remove it. You are going to see the 2 holes.
This item does not block your vision like the double gauge pod. Color matches pretty well too

Autometer par 20662. Plastic cover for A-pillar with 2 cups for 2-1/16" gauges.
I bought it from Summit Racing, test fit it to my 10AE. The texture and color were a poor match for the Miata interior. Also, there were gaps at the top and bottom between pod and pillar. The gaps could be eliminated by trimming with a knife, but I just returned the item because it looked cheap. Note that proper installation requires drilling two holes in the A-pillar trim.
