Rubber backed Coco Mats - these are the universal fit mats available for approximately $20 including shipping from the AJ Prindle Company and other vendors.

These mats fit very well in an M1 Miata. They are not custom fit, but they are the same quality and appearance as the custom fit for about $70 less. They are slightly too wide for the driver's foot well, but can be pressed into place for a good fit. These are very heavy duty and don't show the dirt like the OEM carpeted mats.

Coco fiber/rubber backed floor mats

Delivery was exactly as advertised. The Cocomats web site advises right up front that delivery will take about three weeks, and it does. Product is of the highest quality and it shows. Jeff, at Cocomats could not have been more helpful. I will never own a Miata without these mats again. A highly noticeable, top quality, product. More bang for your buck then almost anything else you can find for the same money.

Excellent quality heavy-duty rubber-backed coconut fiber mats.

Mine are black with a red pattern. They smell a bit funny but not bad. The driver's heel pad is a little harsh on my bare foot; it's fine when I have shoes. These mats look like they will last for years. I bought them from Serious Auto and it took a few months to get them. I think the manufacturer is very slow. Not cheap: I think I paid about $120-130 for them with shipping.

They really look good in my car and I'm glad to have them.
