Tim has come up with a new arm rest that slips right over the console "glove compartment" that is easy to install and allows easy access to the gas and trunk release that are in the  console compartment for cars so equipped. The product comes in Tan or Black leather or vinyl. Special colors are also available. The unit can be used in a variety of positions to fit  any driver and is designed to relieve stress from lack of support of the right arm. The unit is made so to allow use by the passenger as well.

I bought one of these arm rests and installed in my '96 and I really like it. It has made a lot of difference in driving by reducing fatigue in my right arm and shoulder. The fatigue was especially noticeable after several hours in the car. That has been virtually eliminated with this product.

I would highly recommend this product to any Miata driver, and it looks really good on the console. It looks like it belongs and not just something thrown into the car haphazardly.
