12 inch surgical silicone car wash water removal blade.

I have been using it for 3 years of weekly washes. It really speeds up the drying process by getting off 95% of the rinse water in less than 2 minutes. A single towel is more than enough to dry off the remainder. What I most like is that the drying process is now fast enough to preclude water marks from forming on the glass or paint. When I first got it I was concerned about its causing fine scratches in the paint. After 3 years, I have yet to see any.

I bought mine at a military exchange for about $16.00 I would guess that I have used it at least 300 times and it still works as well as the day I bought it. I give mine a quick wash and rinse before each use - I want to be sure that I'm not draging dirt across the paint! Also, I keep mine loosly wrapped in a scrap of soft towel between washes to keep it clean. I wouldn't be without one.

A rubber squeegee. that dries car really fast

It is worth the 12-20 bucks that places want for it. Talk about a time saver. it doesn't get the detail stuff so great but it gets all of the big stuff, so yo ucan go back over it with a nice soft cotton towel on those hard to reach spots. its an excellent product.

Go buy it now. I've used it for 1.5 yrs on my 91 Camaro, 95 Talon, and now on the 99 Miata, and my mom's 00 mustang. this thing is really cool.

Straight from the company ad: The Original California Water Blade™ will revolutionize the way your car is dried after washing. It removes water from any vehicle in about a third the time it takes to dry it with towels, chamois or sponges. And there are no messy cleanups after the job is complete -- or constant wringing out of towels or chamois. Towels and chamois often leave lint and other deposits on the surface when drying it. The Original California Water Blade™ easily whisks away water and its soft medical grade silicone and patent-pending T-Bar tip will not scratch the surface or leave deposits. The Original California Water Blade™ is NOT some ordinary squeegee with a fancy handle. Utilizing a unique molding process, the oversized blade is manufactured from one of the softest materials on the planet. It molds itself to almost any contour, and the exclusive T-Bar edge collects the water and sweeps it off in just one pass.

I absolutely love the product. It made drying the car a "snap". The part I have disliked about washing/drying a car is the drying part. Now it's kind of fun to watch the blade whisk the water away. Although the blade worked on about 98% of the surface of my Miata I still needed a towel to get under the wing spoiler.

Purchased from Tommy at Finish Line Performance :)

12 inch plastic handle with medical grade silicone squeegee blade attached. It is used to wisk water off of vehicles after washing. It is a time saver and towel saver.

I have used this on all of my vehicles and it works great. No more freezing hands from wringing out a chamois. Once I "blade" off most of the water on the car, I just go over it with a towel to get the hard to reach areas and I am done. Quick and easy! It seems to be more gentle than a cotton towel, which usually leaves lint and fuzz.

I bought the California Water Blade from Autofanatics on the Net but you should be able to pick it up at your local PepBoys. The cost of this product was arond $20.00 and worth every peny.
