MGW License Plate Frame

This is MGW's very classy license plate frame. It's machined out of a solid chunk of 7/16" thick metal and given a lovely chrome finish. The license plate opening is large enough to allow viewing of the county sticker on the bottom and the year/date sticker on the lower right. Fasteners made from stainless steel and a special screw driver bit for the fasteners are included. "MX 5" is engraved on the left and right sides of the plate and "Miata" is engraved on the bottom of the frame.

Installation is as easy as replacing a license plate. The special fasteners have two holes in the heads ("snake eyes") thus requiring the special screw driver bit to install and remove. This is good for security. The lower two fasteners are faux, being just the heads with o-rings to hold them in place. Regardless they look like the real deal and will not fall out.

An exceptionally high quality product at a price of $75, it's worth the money if you want to treat your baby to the very best. Pictures at; http://albums.photopoint.com/j/AlbumIndex?u=256072&a=12668064

MGW Polished Shift Knob, E-Brake, Dipstick, and Cigarette Lighter

MGW Products. Polished shift knob with "M" logo, polished e-brake handle, polished cigarette lighter with "MX-5" logo, and dipstick handle with "M" logo. Purchased as a set. All products machined aluminum. Knob and handle held tight with set screws, thus preventing theft.

What an easy way to dress up an interior! All products fit perfectly- better than stock in the case of the e-brake handle. Installation of the whole set takes under ten minutes. The knob is machined aluminum with a rubber grip around the middle. Having had a Voodoo knob previously, I can say that the MGW product offers a much more finished look. It could easily pass as a Mazda factory product. Plus, with the rubber grip, it's actually possible to grab it in the dead of winter without gloves on. This was not possible with the Voodoo knob. The knob is slightly larger than stock, which I with my big hands prefer. The machined "M" logo on the top is VERY classy, and surrounded by a pattern of diagonal stripes. People who ride in the car now comment positively on the interior, which didn't often happen before. The polish is beautiful, and offsets the otherwise black interior quite nicely.

For the price, these products can't be topped. Heck, I haven't seen anything of higher quality- period- available on the aftermarket. Plus, George at MGW was very easy to work with.

Chrome plated billet aluminum dipstick handle made by MGW Ltd.

This is a very nicely made billet aluminum dipstick handle. It's large enough to easily get a grip on and yet it even fits alongside the SC plumbing of my Miata. The chrome finish is exceptional. All of MGW's products are chrome plated by the same company that does the plating for Harley Davidson.

The dipstick handle comes with complete and very easy to follow instructions and the allen wrench needed to install it. You simply cut off the top loop of yellow plastic from the factory dipstick and slip the new handle on. Tightening the set screw keeps it in place and you're done in just a bit more time than it takes to read this. The only real danger would be if you cut off too much of the yellow plastic, I cut too little at first and had to trim it down to get a tight fit.

For only $22 this is a great way to add a bit of glitter to your engine bay. See: http://albums.photopoint.com/j/AlbumIndex?u= 256072&a=1919061 Go to the MGW parts album to find pictures of this part.
