Wheelskins Leather Steering Wheel Cover.

Was as promised, a good quality leather cover that took about an hour to lace on. (good excuse to sit in the Miata for an hour) Make sure to put the start/finish somewhere your hands dont go most of the time as that will not be as smooth as the balance. I set mine between the two spokes on the side, leaving the top and bottom nice and smooth. It will never be mistaken for a factory leather steering wheel but is by far the best steering wheel cover I have ever seen. Quality is very good, feel is great and the diameter of the wheel is slightly larger which is great.

PBC was the lowest price and shipped very quickly. Would deal with them again.

Leather steering wheel cover from Performance Buyers Club.

I was a little apprehesive about buying this cover as I didn't want to spend 25 bucks or so on something that would be cheap or poorly crafted. The cover that I had been using over my standard (non-leather wrapped) steering wheel was one of the cheapies from Walmart. It slid around on the steering wheel and just made the steering feel very uncontrolled. During autocrossing, it was really awful.

So, I decided to take a chance on the one from PBC without seeing it or reading another review. I'm very glad I did! This steering wheel cover is made from Wheelskins and fits the miata steering wheel extremely well for a cover. The leather material is of good quality and provides much better grip than the cheap cover I had.

Installation took a bit longer than expected (about 2 hours) as I wanted to take my time and do it right. The cover comes with a needle and a special string to sew the cover on tightly along the inner surface of the wheel. The install was a little tedious but absolutely worth the effort.

Bottom line, excellent product. Perfect for those that don't have a stock leather wrapped steering wheel or don't want to spend the money on one.
