Rota Circuit 8, polished, 15x6.5. Bought it from R-Speed as a wheel/tire package

Only 100 miles on the new set. They look really good, much better than my stock wheels. The shimmy seems to be gone. Kinda wish I had gone to 16" wheels, but the guy at Rspeed talked me out of it. Noticed that each 16" wheels is almost 5 lbs heavier than the 15". So I feel good about the decision.

16 inch Silver Rota Subzeros with polished lip and 215/40x16 Toyo T1S Tires.

I bought these wheels and tires from R-Speed in Atlanta. I noticed them on the Miata.net Hot and New section. Looked at they're website, went to their open house and felt these are good people. Overall the 16 inch combination looks perfect to me. I know the guys going after total performance buy 15 inch wheels. These wheels look like the perfect size on a lowered Miata. My car has Racing Beat Race Springs and Koni shocks. The front shocks are set to the stock (top) position and the rear to the R1 (middle) position.

R-Speed has got to be one of the best Miata vendors on the East coast. I highly recommend them. I know a lot of guys are looking for the absolute lowest price on everything. These guys might not always be the lowest price but they we'll always be of the highest character and most helpful. I appreciate all the advice and help Peter and Hector gave me. R-Speed is a vendor I trust and we'll be giving more business to.

Rota RB wheels, 13x8" +4mm offset 4 11/18" backspace. Silver finish with machined lip in a Panasport/Minilite style wheel. 14lbs cast alloy. Non hubcentric.

I use these for autocrossing with Kumho 235/45/13 V700s on my 2" lowered '97. No rub issues or problems due to weight. Highly recommended for the budget setup.

You will notice an increase in tramlining due to the wide tires and super low offset, I also noticed a small amount of bump steer but not enough to be a concern on the street. These wheels are only available through one vendor, www.revolutionsmotorsports.com

16" SubZero package from RSpeed. Silver finish. Good deal!

WOW! The infamous "shimmy" is all but GONE! It is agreed on by many on the Miata.net forum that a great tire/wheel balancing is key to reducing the shimmy. All I can say is the folks at RSpeed must be masters at it! No more shimmy for Jimmy!

I love the look of this tire/wheel combo. Whether you like'em or not, I have to say this: I went from stock size (14") to these, and it immediately felt as if THIS was the proper size for my car. Great handling and very smooth!

Rota Circuit 8 wheels in silver powdercoat, size 15 x 6.5. Also purchased: hub centering rings and spline drive lugnuts.

Very sharp wheel. These wheels are just enough different than most of the "me too" designs out there. I get compliments from people who have spent ridiculous amounts of money on their wheels (mostly S2000 owners!)

I bought these wheels from Brian Goodwin. They came in 4 days (from CA to NY!), delivered in perfect condition. You will need the tuner lugnuts Brian sells (spline drive). The stock lugs are too fat to properly engage the bevels in the wheels holes. The spline drive nuts are really nice in chrome and add to the trickness of the wheel. Did I mention they were light?, only 12 pounds. Combined with Toyo T1-S tires, it's about as light as I can go without spending big bucks on forged wheels.

16x7", 40mm offset Rota Sub-Zeros in Bronze.

Came packed with center caps in pristine condition. No problems with fitment using 215/45 series tires. The bronze color is more subtle than most other brands I have seen.

They have been 14.5lbs of joy. I really like the way the wheel looks on the car and they do exactly what I need - hold some large rubber on my car and stay round. Nice and light for the cost never hurts either. The ride is slighly harsher than stock but well within tolerable limits. The steering heft has increased but I actually prefer it as the car feels much more stable on the highway.

It is Rota brand, Subzero model, Aluminium wheels. 15"x6.5" +40mm offset. Weight 12lbs each. The hubcentric is sold separately and available from the shop I bought them - SeriousAuto.com . The wheel center caps are included but I found that the rim looks great without. It is about 95% same style of RacingHart. A recent photo can be found on Sport compact car August issue 2001, page 112.

I picked the gunmetallic color for my white exterior color 1999 miata. With similar to black wheel/tires on a white color Miata, the overall appearance enhances a dirty and rough look. Photos can be found on my web site www.geocities.com/MotorCity/9272/subzero/ The wheels are great. Because the factory hex lug nuts are going to damage the wheel while being put on, I paid additional 12 pieces of splinedrive lug nuts and a splinedrive key socket.

This set of Rota Subzero is known fitting in Civic, and Integra (except GSR) SeriousAuto stated.

Rota Circuit 8 Wheels

15x6.5" wheels with a +38 offset. I purchased them from Serious Auto. They came with the hubcentric collars.

I replaced the 15" BBS M-Edition wheels on my car with the Rota Circuit 8's and have been very pleased. The wheels weigh only 1lb more than the forged BBS wheels, but they are much stronger. I actually bought these wheels because I had bent a couple of the BBS wheels (during normal street driving) and wanted an inexpensive wheel that was basically disposable. The Rotas looked good (Mugen MF8 copies) and were very light for a cast wheel. I have been totally astounded by how strong these wheels are. They've been on my car for almost a year now and I haven't had any problems. I just got new Toyos mounted on them a month ago and the Hunter machine showed almost zero run-out on every rim. That is awesome.

I would highly recommend this wheel to anyone looking for an inexpensive, light and strong 15" or 16" wheel. The only problem that I have had is that two of the centercaps popped off. I solved this problem by re-installing the caps with a couple of dabs of RTV on the edges. This keeps them in place, but stays soft so that they can be easily removed when it comes time to balance the wheels or get new tires.

after searching for the right 15" wheel for my Miata, i finally ended up getting these real nice looking wheels. honestly i wasn't impressed with all the pictures i've seen on the net. but i wanted wheels that are lightweight, tough and not-too-expensive. The Rota C8s meet these requirements. Of course I was very happy to find out that the bronze wheels turned out to be a real beauty also. The wheels along with the yoko a032r tires are about 4lbs heavier than my stock setup. The car now has a very aggressive look and a lot of people have asked me info about the wheels (especially in the autox events). The wheels come in silver and black color also!

Rota Circuit 8 wheels, 15"x6.5", +38mm offset, 11.5 lbs each, Silver with black centercaps, sourced through Serious Auto

These wheels are exactly what I've always wanted in wheels. Normally the silver Circuit 8s are supplied with silver center caps, but mine arrived with black ones. I think the black caps I have look better than silver!

I weighed the wheels at UPS when I picked them up. Each one fell within the range of 11.28-11.60 lbs, the median weight being 11.5 lbs. With the 21 lbs Dunlops I have right now, the weight is 32.5 lbs per corner, or 2.5 lbs more than stock. I will resolve this in the Spring with 18 lb Dunlop SP9000 tires to come in at .5 lbs lighter than stock 14" wheels. The offset is NOT noticeable due to the light weight. The price is right, the looks are right, the holes fit the Miata's studs perfectly... I could go on and on. These wheels seem tailor-made for a Miata. I love them!

6.5 X 15" lightweight alloy wheel (12 lbs., 38 MM offset, hub-centric only by using a collar, which was provided by the vendor, R-Speed). $135 dollars/wheel; comes in silver or bronze.

Looks are subjective, and I like the look of this wheel. It's similar to the factory alloy wheel on the '94 - '97 cars, although the Rota center section is larger and the wheel has more spokes. Combined weight of the wheel with 195/50 X 15" Yokohama AVS tires is @32 lbs, or about three lbs. more than the original 14" combo. Wheels and tires arrived in perfect shape, with collars, new chrome lug nuts and a special hex key wrench to install them, as well as center caps.

My car's handling is better (I switched from 14" seven-spoke alloys), and I like the look of the Rotas. I think this is one of the better wheels out there, as they combine looks (again, subjective), with decent weight, a close-enough offset, and a reasonable price. My package from R-Speed, including tires and shipping, was less than $900.
