Tan Canvas defroster glass window top manufactured by Kee and sold by Daveshouze on Ebay.

The top arrived on time and in excellent condition. The packaging was adequate for the task, and the top inside the box was packaged well. First impressions were that the canvas material is a huge improvement over the stock vinyl, color is a little less 'orange' than the original. Defroster connections were amateur, and one broke loose during unpacking. Easy to solder back on, but shouldn't have been needed. Also, the stock top had a cloth tube for the defroster wiring, the replacement does not. I needed to use some shrink tubing I had to protect the wiring, and still have not found a way to attach the wires to the top properly. Not a big deal, but still. Included directions were very basic, and had a few steps missing. I used the illustrated directions from the garage instead. Installation was fairly easy, all the holes lined up, and the top was cut properly. Everything fell into place with few real issues. Closing the top the first time required some very creative use of body weight, but after several days of stretching out, top operation is easy and smooth. The top looks very, very nice, and is a huge improvement. No weird wrinkles, or pieces out of place. The defroster works better than stock.

Better directions for things that are specific to the replacement top, (front plastic header piece, where to glue, side straps, etc.) would have been very nice. Overall well worth the money. I cannot compare to any other replacement tops, but I would not hesitate to buy this one again.

Over 30 minutes to remove completely
